A community garden is any piece of land gardened by a group of people.
It can be urban, suburban, or rural. It can grow flowers, vegetables or community. It can be one large group plot, or it can be many individual plots. It can be located anywhere, at a school, an officebuilding, or in a neighborhood.
The Coshocton Community Garden is a gift from two physicians, Drs. Brenda and David Lozowski who were inspired to till-up the empty lot next to their office building and offer garden plots to the community. It quickly became a success. Especially after the city extended a line to supply water to the garden.
