The Woodlands at Clary Gardens

There are 11 acres of woodlands at Clary Gardens. In 2005, a ½ mile trail was installed that meanders through the canopy of trees and large sandstone outcroppings. Visitors are encouraged to walk the trail and enjoy the native shagbark hickories, red and white oaks, dogwoods, beech, and more. In 2011, Clary Gardens received EQIP (Environmental Quality Incentives Program) funds to remove the invasive species from the woodlands, such as multiflora rose, privet, barberry, and garlic mustard.
